Fine Art maternity studio photography session in Bury St Edmunds
She arrived with a huge smile and energy that was contagious. We sat down with a hot cuppa and went over what we were going to do on her session, talked a little about her newborn session and showed her all the pretties (Portfolio box and Album). She obviously loved the gorgeous Leather Portfolio box that I also cannot stop petting.
Then we went on the wardrobe and chose outfits and she instantly loved the little one size fits all lace gown that is actually also from Italy (like my fine art products) and it looked amazing on her! I love to use that dress for my postpartum mamas as well as it has an underskirt and it is just perfectly fitting and concealing not to mention stinking cute!
Then went on to the blush tulle skirt with the lace top that is oh my makes a grown women feel like a princess and quite honestly we all need that, don’t we?!
Had a little fun with a super soft lace robe before she bravely dropped it all off to show off her absolutely beautiful maternal form. She is so beautiful I kept saying “Oh My Gosh you are so beautiful”. I honestly think there’s not a more beautiful sight than the maternal form. It holds a miracle, it is strong and fierce and says power. To me, all these things are combined into Motherhood. This is why I love maternity photo sessions and this is why I’m doing what I’m doing.
Because Motherhood is hard. Being pregnant is hard. Hardest things I’ve ever done and therefore these make me the proudest that I have done these right, with pride, with purpose, I’ve done and do the best I could and can and it just makes me proud. And I know it’s the same for you too, so I really want you to celebrate it.
