PLANNING

Newborn photography is a very relaxed and intimate photo session. In order to create stunning images that you will love forever, we will plan your session, wardrobe and artwork together.

THE SESSION

Your newborn photo session can take place in either your home, if you’d like to incorporate it, or in my studio, if you’d like a clean style. My comfy studio is in Bury St Edmunds with easy access, parking, wifi and refreshments.

Newborn sessions usually last up to 2-3 hours and we start with pro makeup and hair pampering for new mum (optional but loved by all!) and I’ll start photographing your baby in the meantime. I’ll guide you all the way through the best poses, we will have lots of fun and baby snuggles!

I like to work with neutrals for the baby’s photoshoot, I like to stick to white and pastels, we’ll plan this in advance prior to the newborn photoshoot.

The best time to photograph your baby is in the first 2-3 weeks but it’s always better late than never, so it’s never late to have gorgeous photos with your baby, feel free to reach out to me to discuss the details!

CHOOSING YOUR IMAGES & ARTWORK

Your images will be presented to you on my screen, in my studio.

You’ll be able to choose your favourites and decide on your final artwork, as well as designing details of your album.

I’ll guide you all the way through. Then, I will let you double check the proofs and send off your gorgeous images to be lovingly handcrafted into family heirlooms.
